Quality Improvement and Research
With our community partners, PECaD conducts quality-improvement activities. The goals of these activities are:
- To assess and improve efforts to end cancer disparities
- To promote appropriate patient participation in clinical studies at the Siteman Cancer Center by gender, race and ethnicity
- To engage community leadership to strengthen the relevance, reach and direction of cancer disparities research
- To use community-based participatory research approaches to understand and eliminate cancer disparities
