Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Cancer Recovery Program

A popular class led by Siteman Cancer Center's Counseling Service will teach cancer patients/survivors and their caregivers new strategies for coping with the stress of cancer diagnosis, treatment and survivorship.
The 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Cancer Recovery Program will cover such topics as meditation, mindful movement and coping skills.
Participants will learn how to address feelings of anxiety and fear so they can focus on recovery and improve their quality of life.
The class, which is free, will be held in the Center for Advanced Medicine on Siteman's main campus, 4921 Parkview Place. Registration is required. For information or to register, call 314-747-5587.
