Basic Science Leadership Committee

The Basic Science Leadership Committee is comprised of the five program leaders who represent the basic cancer research efforts in the Siteman Cancer Center. It also includes the director of our cancer biology pathway in the Division of Biology and Biomedical Sciences. It is chaired by Timothy Ley, MD, Siteman's associate director for basic science. This committee convenes every four to six weeks to discuss new initiatives, evaluate the progress of existing programs and cores, and advise the senior leadership on new strategies and policies.
