Description:
Cervical cancer is typically treated with a combination of radiation therapy and chemotherapy called cisplatin. Magnetic
Resonance Imaging (or MR Imaging) and Computerized Tomography (CT) scans are typically used for planning radiation treatments. This study will evaluate if new kinds of MR images can help radiation
oncologists better locate and target tumors. We hope that eventually this information may be used to better predict how tumors respond to radiation and chemotherapy.
