Description:
The purpose of this research study is to see how treatment with lithium carbonate affects your memory when taken before and during PCI, as PCI can lead to the development of short term memory problems. Short term memory is the memory you use to remember lists, like grocery lists. Doctors think people receiving PCI may get this problem because a part of the brain important for short term memory may be
damaged by radiation.
