Description:
The purpose of this research study is to learn whether the use of Clostridium-novyi-NT in people with your type of cancer is safe and effective. Clostridium novyi-NT spores are bacteria. In laboratory animals, Clostridium novyi-NT spores can grow within tumors and destroy a large part of the tumors. Wild type Clostridium novyi with the lethal toxin is naturally present in soil and has reportedly caused human disease, but for this study a weakened form called Clostridium ovyi-NT (non-toxin) with the lethal toxin removed will be used.
