Description:
The purpose of this research study is to test whether NKTR-102 compared with standard treatment for breast cancer is safe and effective in treating patients with advanced breast cancer. This study will look at how cancer responds to the study treatment. It will also look at the side effects of NKTR-102 and (in some patients) it will examine how long NKTR-102 stays in their blood.
