Description:
The purpose of this research study is to evaluate scans of your brain called perfusion MRIs before and after gamma-knife radiosurgery to see if changes in the scans can predict your response to gamma-knife over the course of a year. We are interested in gathering information about how scans can help
physicians make predictions about the success of gamma-knife because this may, in the future, allow people whose early scans show signs that gamma-knife was not completely successful in removing the metastases pursue further treatment, such as whole brain radiation therapy, which other people might not
need to receive.
