Research Interest:
The rational design and synthesis of chemical tools useful for studying cancer biology. The development of innovative small molecule modulators of protein targets associated with tumor development, progression and resistance to chemotherapy. Research is focused on understanding mechanisms of DNA repair, tumor invasion and metastasis. A secondary goal is to optimize and develop the chemical tools into novel therapeutics in close collaboration with clinical faculty members.
