Research Interest:
Molecular basis of human genetic disease and cancer. Genetic diseases are being isolated with positional cloning methods that include linkage analysis, gene identification and mutational analysis. Diseases under investigation are psoriasis, the lipodystrophies and familial cancer. We are also searching for novel tumor suppressor genes and are using DNA chips to examine genes altered in cancer and proliferative diseases.
