Return to Wellness Series Provides Support and Health Info for Local Breast Cancer Survivors

This is the first time the program has been offered in north St. Louis, which opened doors for a new community of women to participate.

The second talk in the St. Louis Public Library's Consumer Health Information Speaker Series featured Bettina Drake, PhD, MPH, and Monique Norfolk, MPH, who represented PECaD and shared cancer prevention and health disparity information with attendees.

CCCP To Host First Community Education Day
Join us Saturday, May 10, for Smart Health: Knowledge is Power, Learning about Your Colon Health, a half-day course on colon cancer prevention for community members hosted by the Colon Cancer Community Partnership. Researchers and physicians will lead 30-minute sessions on prevention, community research, GI health, and more.

Meet PECaD's new Research Assistant, Kelsey Bobrowski. She received her bachelor's degree in Community Health Education from SIUE in 2013. Bobrowski will help extend PECaD's outreach to new communities and local organizations.
